We teach the Zimbabwe national curriculum with care and rigour, then enrich the week with French, sport, and the creative arts — so every child develops confidence across subjects.
Inside the classroom
Subjects are taught in age-appropriate ways from ECD through Grade 5. Teachers track progress and adapt lessons so each learner is supported and stretched.
Literacy & English
Strong foundations in reading, writing and communication skills built from ECD through Grade 5 with differentiated instruction for every learner.
Mathematics
Numeracy and problem-solving skills developed through structured lessons, practical activities, and regular assessment to track progress.
Science & Technology
Hands-on exploration of the natural world, encouraging curiosity and scientific thinking from the earliest grades upwards.
French Language
International language exposure for all pupils, building global communication skills and opening doors to broader opportunities beyond Zimbabwe.
Physical Education
Sport, movement and teamwork woven into the school week. Physical well-being is as important as academic achievement at Eastwood.
Creative Arts
Music, art and creative expression give every child the chance to discover and develop their unique talents beyond the core curriculum.
School day
Lessons run Monday to Friday. Pupil hours are typically 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM; the office is available for parents from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Exact routines may vary slightly by class — ask at enrolment or on your visit.
